Aangezien het prachtig weer is, wil ik jullie niet te lang achter jullie computer gekluisterd houden. Lees de vijf nieuwsbriefpuntjes van vandaag en luister ondertussen naar de muziek van 5 geweldige (boy)bands. Klik op de titels en Youtube zorgt voor de muzikale omluistering.
Als de muziek jullie niet echt aanstaat, heb ik twee andere suggesties om naar te luisteren: Dvorak en Elgar. Dat is genieten en je voorbereiden op de repetitie tegelijkertijd!
Hopelijk waren de partiële repetities vorige week leerrijk en productief. Woensdag krijgen jullie allemaal de kans om jullie vooruitgang te laten horen. De repetitie zal er als volgt uit zien:
19u15 Trechterzaal klaarzetten
19u28 Met instrument op je stoel, klaar om te stemmen
19u30 Elgar met solist Paul Heyman, focus op het 2e deel
21u00 Dvorak, focus op het 3e deel
Wees op tijd, wees voorbereid, het wordt fantastisch!
We gaan naar Hamburg With or Without You!!!
Nog steeds niet laten weten of je meegaat op stage naar Hamburg??? Hoogtijd om dat te doen! Maarten en Mathijs moeten ten laatste woensdag weten of je mee gaat, anders zal er voor jou helaas geen plaats zijn op de bus. Mail snel naar reisbestuur@guso.be!

Van eten kan je doodgaan… als je allergieën hebt. We houden meer van jullie in de ‘alive and well’ vorm, daarom is het UITERST BELANGRIJK om dit document in te vullen! Schrijf je naam en eventuele voedselallergieën op. Geef vervolgens aan of je vlees eet of vegetariër bent.
Vul het document ten laatste DONDERDAG in. Ons reisbestuur moet al deze gegevens doorgeven aan onze Hostel in Hamburg. Te laat ingevuld = automatisch vlees op je bord!
Boyband, girlband, whatever, gender is fluid and performative! Wat ook een serieuze performance zal zijn is de verkleedrepetitie, en de verschijning van de man met de baard beloofd ook wel een show te zijn. Wat er zo nog allemaal op de animatiekalender staat lees je hier:

21/3 Verkleedrepetitie (Verkleden in Duo’s) + Duitse avond
28/3 Man met de baard
Met al deze fijne dingen moet het zeker lukken om de sfeer er goed in te krijgen dit semester!
Super veel liefde gegarandeerd voor de GUSOer die nog een fagottist(e), hoornist(e) of trombonist(e) kent die graag in het GUSO zou meespelen. Denk eens goed na, ken je nog een muzikant? Geef dan zeker de contactgegevens door aan vice@guso.be zodat Marieke contact kan opnemen en onze blazerssectie helemaal kan vullen met fijne mensen!

The weather is great today, so I don’t want to take up too much of your time with this letter. Read the five newsletter items of today and listen to some music of 5 great (boy)bands while reading. Click on the titles and Youtube will make sure that you have some lovely background music.
If you don’t like the music so much, I would like to suggest two other options to listen to: Dvorak and Elgar. They will provide you pleasure and preparation at the same time!
I hope the partial rehearsals were very productive. On Wednesday, you will all get the opportunity to show us what you’ve learned. The rehearsal will look like this:
19h15 Prepping the Trechterzaal
19h28 Sit on a chair with your instrument, ready to tune
19h30 Elgar with soloist Paul Heyman, focus on the 2nd part
21h00 Dvorak, focus on the 3rd part

Still haven’t told Maarten or Mathijs whether you’re joining GUSO on our great rehearsal/concert week in Hamburg??? The time is now!!! Please let our travelteam know if you’re coming to Hamburg with us or not on Wednesday the latest! Otherwise there will be no spot for you on the bus. Send an e-mail to reisbestuur@guso.be!

You can die from eating… if you’re allergic to certain foods. We prefer our musicians to be ‘alive and well’, so it is UTTERLY IMPORTANT to fill in this document! Write your name and any food allergies when you have them. Next, you fill in whether or not you’re a vegetarian or not.
Fill in the form by THURSDAY the latest. Our travelteam needs to let our Hamburg hostel know asap. If you fill it in too late, you will get a plaid full of meat!
